Geocache Description:

The words “no birds out here today” just left my mouth when an acorn woodpecker flew right over my windshield and into an oak tree overhead. I found the closest stash for the cache. This woodpecker winters here in the valley and stuffs his booty into specially drilled holes in oak trees tightly so that squirrels can’t steal them!
