Geocache Description:

You are looking for a small waterproof container. The difficulity rating is high because this is a very high muggle area. Stealth is required to retrieve the cache unnoticed. Located in Bahia Honda State Park, about mile marker 36. This cache was placed with the help of the park manager to insure the protection of the environment. Bring your own pen.

There is a small fee to enter the State Park. Bring a bathing suit, kayak, canoe or bike and really enjoy the day. There is a concession stand if you want to purchase lunch or souveniors. We really hope you enjoy this and other State Parks along the road to Key West. We are retired teachers from New Jersey and just love it here.

This part of the park was part of Henry Flagler's East Coast Railway holdings. His railroad to Key West was built in 1912 but was destroyed in 1935 by a hurricane. The bridge offers a panoramic view of the island and surrounding waters.
