Geocache Description:

Enjoy the adventure. Congrats to Jffok for the FTF

The Family Fun Trail is a 1/4 mile paved path that leads into the woods. Walk the trail and have a seat on the bench and let the kids go back into the woods an additional 100 feet to the cache.

Greenleaf State Park provides a wonderful family experience for the novice and experienced camper/fisherman/hiker (and hopefully the geocacher). This cache is located about 100 feet off the trail behind the final bench.

This particular trail is 1/4 mile in length and leads to the site of what is believed to be the old WPA project during the 1930's. Men from the local area were employed to build the lake and the first facilities within the state park. We have seen wild turkey and deer here and throughout the park.

The cache is a small camo'd lock-n-lock full of girl-related swag (at the time of placement). We come here often throughout the year and will do our best to keep it properly stocked. Please keep it properly covered for the next visitor.

This cache was placed by Madison, 9 years old. Once

We received permission from the GSP Park Ranger prior to placing this cache.
