The walk is a little over 2.5 miles but may seem longer as there is quite a steep hill to climb, whichever way around you walk. It is also possible to find some of the caches as drivebys but there is only very limited parking and we feel the series is well worth doing as a complete walk. Please note this walk is muddy at the best of times so appropriate footwear is strongly recommended.
Suggested parking for the series is at the Leeming Reservoir, but please take great care on leaving as it is very difficult to see traffic approaching in either direction. There are two very nice pubs nearby.
From #1 follow the footpath to the right, down past the cottages and then up the lane to cache #2. This location is slightly overlooked so stealth may be required The cache is a micro containing just a log, so you will need to bring your own pen or pencil.
