The walk is a little over 2.5 miles but may seem longer as there is quite a steep hill to climb, whichever way round you walk. It is also possible to find some of the caches as drive-bys but there is only very limited parking and we feel the series is well worth doing as a complete walk. Please note this walk is muddy at the best of times so appropriate footwear is strongly recommended.
Suggested parking for the series is at Leeming Reservoir, but please take great care on leaving as it is very difficult to see traffic approaching in either direction. There are two very nice pubs nearby.
From #7 walk down the lane towards the houses and look for the path which goes between the two houses. Follow this back down towards the reservoir. The cache is a screw top container with room for swaps and trackables. Please note: The original gate has been removed and it is now a 'Gateway'. This should clear up any confusion.
