Short Hike. Uphill. Mostly on old roads, but 50m of bushwack.
Good for those days where you want to get out in the woods, but don't want to be gone all day.
Cache is located past "Back to Nature". Area highlights some beautiful old growth and a pleasant mountain stream. Cache is located beside stream off main road, or off end of an inconspicuous spur road that cuts through the old growth on a bench beside the stream. There is no real advantage to going one way or the other, although the spur requires less uphill and is a shorter overall walk.
The road continues up the hill from here, but becomes unpleasantly overgrown once you reach the second growth above.
There is some blowdown and a creek crossing, so I upped the terrain to a 3.
Cache is hidden under a log in typical style.
