Geocache Description:

Seanor Farm Park is open dawn to dusk. Please park at the posted coordinates. Thank you, D.L.

My old friends Bo and Luke Duke stopped by the other day and asked if I would help them find a place for their new moonshine still. In return for my assistance, they offered me a jug of their best homebrew. I accepted the terms of their offer, and we high-tailed it to Seanor Farm Park with Bo at the wheel of the General Lee.......... Two minutes later we slid out of the windows and proceeded on foot. After some searching, I guided them to a spot that my grandfather had shown me as a boy. According to legend, previous owners of this farm operated a still here during the prohibition. The still was later destroyed by federal agents around the time that the Army Corps were building the Loyalhanna Dam. I pulled out my GPS receiver and discovered that the batteries were dead................ I then returned to the last waypoint that I had stored, U.S. Army Corps monument L23D-F. I walked southeast from the monument back to the still, pacing the distance at 491 feet with Bo and Luke. We then paced south from a second U.S. Army Corps monument, L23F-F, 353 feet back to the still. Pacing from the still to the General Lee, we found the distance to be 2312 feet. From the glove compartment of the General, Luke retrieved a compass. The bearing back to the still was found to be 24 degrees, 40 minutes and 53 seconds measured clockwise from true north.............. While sipping a cup of 'shine at my desk, I later calculated the latitude and longitude of the still using variations of the spherical law of cosines. I worked my lats and lons in decimal minutes and was careful to avoid rounding. Then it hit me, I had accidentally stumbled upon a puzzle cache!............... I returned to the spot during a snowstorm and hid a small container beside the still. Inside that container are the coordinates for the final stage. The final stage is a little brown jug that now holds a log book and pencils................ Rumor has it that the Duke boys have headed back to Hazzard County, but my cache remains.................. There are at least a half-dozen ways to calculate the coordinates of the still. No spoilers, please. Moonshiners take that kind of thing mighty serious if you know what I mean..................
