Geocache Description:

Nice and easy cache between Euston, Camden and Regents Park. Easy terrain but beware that the park gates are only open during daylight hours.

St James Gardens is a nice enough little park, overshadowed somewhat by Regents Park being a stone's throw away and the nice green spaces in nearby Bloomsbury. Whilst it's not the best park in the world, it's certainly a nice place for a lunch-break or as a shortcut home. Check out the various old gravestones dotted around the perimeter and the old tombs in the centre. If you are feeling stupidly energetic there is also a sports court. Must be noted that the gardens look a lot prettier come spring and summer than in the winter.

The cache is a small round tupperware, coloured black. There is a pen (bring your own though just in case it gets lost or runs out), a log and enough room for geocoins and other small trinkets.

The path is a little bumpy in places (could do with re-tarmacing) but should not present huge problems to wheelchair users or people with prams and buggies.

Also, note that this cache is not available 24/7 since the park is only open during daylight hours and it can't be reached from outside the park.

Beware the drunk muggles who can congregate near to the entrance of Hampstead Road, they're harmless enough as long as you don't poke them.

*** Congrats to The Cad for being first to find ***
