Geocache Description:


This small grass strip ( WN42: Flying H Ranch Airport) and its sister airport (02WA: Cawleys South Prairie Airport) are probably the biggest contributing factors for my love of aviation. I grew up literally in between the airports, and spent many summer days watching the planes in the overhead pattern.

I loved aviation so much, I got my pilots license, and eventually became an Air Traffic Controller for the Federal Aviation Administration. It seemed only natural that I place a cache near one of the major contributors to my disease.

If you're lucky and stop by on a nice day, hopefully you'll see one of the old Warbirds that calls this place home take off.
