really? ..... REALLY?!?! Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

GeoCrater: I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no word from the owner in the month or more since the last reviewer note was posted. If you want to re-activate the cache during the next couple of months, please contact GeoCrater to see if that's possible. If the cache meets current guidelines, consideration will be given based on the circumstances surrounding the original archival.

NOTE: My preferred method of communication is through notes on the cache page in question. However, should you wish to use email - please do not select "reply". In general, a replay to the geocaching.com mail bot will not reach me. Instead, please go to your cache page and e-mail GeoCrater from the log there or email me directly at geocrater@gmail.com, referencing the cache URL, or waypoint number.

Geocache Description:

The cache is located at the back of my favorite store. DO NOT APPROACH THIS CACHE FROM THE FEEDER ROAD. There are several locations for a micro, but this is not your typical micro. It is custom made and after I placed it, I thought, "if I came here to find this cache, I would probably spend 30 minutes and still not find it." Please don't get frustrated if you can't find it. I expect several DNF's before anyone does (I hope I'm wrong). For each DNF, I will add a hint that will get more detailed after each attempt. Once someone finds it, I will take away the easiest hint and continue in this manner.

You don't have to remove this cache to get the log. If you do remove the cache, please place back in exactly the same spot and make sure it's "tight" to prevent it from disappearing. The log is difficult to retrieve, but I have added a piece of wire to assist in that. If the wire is lost, please replace with a twig or paperclip piece, etc.

I left GZ and came back several times to get the most accurate reading for this. I was within 4 feet every time. Good luck!

Congratulations to Yogi942 and TeamOxford on the FTF!!!

***Update 2/23/11 - There seems to be a pretty even ratio of Find/DNF now, so I think that the 4 hints provided are sufficient and don't really feel a need to add/subtract any more hints. After all, this is a 4.5 difficulty, so the hints are really just a bonus.

***Update 3/31/11 - As a friendly reminder, there is no need to twist, turn, pull, push, damage anything on the equipment there. This should serve as another "hint".
