Greenberry Cache Traditional Cache
RetallickRamblers: Attempted to reach this along all the previous routes, but all are too overgrown.
This area is full of mine workings and I wouldn't want anyone blundering blindly into a shaft, so I'm archiving it.

Greenberry Downs is a little known pretty spot.
The area is heavily mineralised and was successfully worked as Wheal Grylls in the 19th century.
A later working, as Wheal Boxer, in the early 20th century was unsuccessful.
Because of the mine workings, it is wise to keep to the paths.
A wide range of wildlife, including the occasional peregrine, may be seen.
Cache is a 1 litre lock & lock box containing several small swappable items, plus a notebook and pen.
Please ensure the lid is replaced securely.
The cache can be approached from many directions, but we would advise approaching from the west and parking in Packet Lane at about 50 degrees, 7.316N, 005 degrees, 25.019W.
This approach might be quite muddy in the winter.
Please keep dogs on a lead.
You might like to wear gloves to retrieve the cache.
