This cache is located on open public land known as The Meads Community Woodland. This land is popular with dogwalkers and families. We walk our dogs there regularly and this cache is placed in memory of one of our Greyhounds. The cache is a 0.5 litre plastic clip top box and at the time of placing it, it contained a log book and two pens in a bag, a GPS travel bug, and a couple of other kiddies bits.
This cache is located on open public land known as The Meads Community Woodland. This land has recently been given over by Swale Borough Council and is now becoming established with trees, shrubs and various other plants. An information board about the land can be found near the entrance from the Staplehurst Road. This land is popular with dogwalkers and families. We walk our dogs there regularly and this cache is placed in memory of one of our Greyhounds who spent alot of time off the lead and wandering around this place. She would often disappear into this area as its a great place for rabbit burrows and being a Greyhound she needed a rabbit or two to chase!! At the time of placing the cache which was on a fairly busy afternoon the rabbits were out and about and our current Greyhound was quite keen to follow them around!!!.
