Spring Lake Preserve - Tranquility Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

West Texas Reviewer: Cache Owner (CO) has not responded, so the cache is being archived to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking new cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace this cache sometime in the future (not to exceed 10 days from the date of this entry), just contact me (by e-mail), and assuming it still meets the current Guidelines, I will consider unarchiving this cache.

Please be advised this is not a guarantee that this geocache will be unarchived. Many factors will go into my decision. The most important of which is how you responded to geocachers who tried to communicate with you regarding the problem(s) with this geocache hide and how you communicated with me, the West Texas Reviewer.

Geocache Description:

Please read description in it's entirety before attempting this cache!

If you are unfamiliar with the San Marcos Greenbelt Alliance this is a great place to start. Visit the related website included with this cache to begin your journey.

Despite what you might think there is only one official entrance to this park at this time. Please do not try any shortcuts you might think are there. You are just cheating yourself out of a great hike. You will need to refer to this link if you have never explored out here.
(visit link)

The cache is located roughly halfway through one of the main trails located out here. The first half of the trail leading you to the cache is compacted and easy to walk. The second half is more primitive and more challenging. Hike or bike; it's up to you!

The cache is in a very quiet area and has some great views nearby. There is a lot of tree cover but I made three trips out here to average coords so I hope they will lead you in the right direction!

Please be mindful of how the cache is "put together" and replace it as similar to how you found it as you can. The way I designed it it should remain waterproof.

I have included a few small trade items, logbook, pen and a brand new micro with Rite in the Rain log for the FTF.

Happy trails!

** Congratulations to Mr_Toads for FTF! **
