This cache is part of a series of caches dedicated to the reminiscence and admiration of Roseville’s early dwellers. It is part of a series of caches called: “CACHE OUT IN ROSEVILLE”

I just love the buildings of yesteryear! If it’s still standing, I want to look at it and contemplate its history. I’ll wonder who built it. Was it a simple shelter or was it just the most magnificent thing around? I’ll imagine the people that used to live there and wonder how they dressed, and what kind of hats and shoes they wore. Children must have been born here and lived out their happy childhood amongst the same trees. That stream flowing nearby --- it probably was here back then. Was it their drinking water or did they have wells? What animals were raised here? What kind of meals were cooked inside? How many generations might have lived here? Were they excited to get electricity and running water out of a tap? How many hours a day were spent doing everyday chores and what were they? Did people die here? Were they annoyed with the noise the passing train made in the middle of the night?
Anyway, you get the picture. I’m not sure what this building even was used for. I’ve been driving by it for years and finally stopped to take a look. Anyway, I just knew it needed a cache. Tell me what you think about this structure. Better yet . . . . What the heck was this place anyway? But unfortunately now the structure has been demolished and there's nothing left to see. Still a cool hide
though.
