During summer vacation with Rain_Beaux a friend told us of a Challenge cache called Road Trip. At first I thought what a dumb idea. We decided to work on it well at the east coast and as it turns out it was a lot of fun. I enjoyed it so much I decided to put one out in Hamilton.
The good news is that the cache itself is located at the listed coordinates. The bad news is that you must complete the following challenge before you can log the cache as found. Your mission, if you choose to accept, is to find at least one cache in each of 6 different US states (Washington DC is also acceptable) and/or Canadian provinces within 2 consecutive days. The fine print:
1. All cache types are acceptable, BUT your list must include at least 4 different cache types (traditional, multi, virtual, letterbox, event, etc).
2. You do not have to find this cache within the 2 days of the challenge. You may find the cache and sign the log prior to completing the challenge.
3. Your 6 qualifying finds must be listed in your found log in the format: State/Province, GC#, Cache Name, Cache Type, Found Date (See example below).
4. Any found logs that don’t meet the challenge requirements will be deleted. If you find the cache prior to completing the challenge, please log your visit as a note.
The difficulty rating for this cache is for the challenge involved, not the cache itself. The terrain rating is based on the cache location. An average of all 4 seasons. Some being a little easier then others. The area of the hide consists of many dog walkers and can get pretty swampy in certain seasons.
