Geocache Description:

This is the first of 12 geocaches placed throughout the Cedar Bay Trail system.

This geocache is part of the Cedar Bay Geocache Trail located within the Cedar Bay Recreational Area in Sioux Lookout, Ontario. The caches are located within 10 meters of an existing trail and consist of a small clear box that contains a logbook, pencil, sharpener and hole punch. Use the unique hole punch in the appropriate space of your official Cedar Bay Geocache Trail Passport. Collect all the stamps in your passport and you are eligible for a souvenir Cedar Bay Geocache Trail geocoin. Geocoins may be claimed at the Sioux Lookout Travel Information Centre (while supplies last). Pick up your copy of the passport at the Cedar Bay kiosk, the Sioux Lookout Travel Information Centre, or visit our website to download a pdf version.

* Please do not place any trade items in this container. We prefer that visitors focus on the location of the cache and story that the cache will communicate rather than trade items. This will also prevent a cache from containing items that may attract wildlife. Travel bugs are permitted.

Please respect groomed trails during the nordic ski season.
