Rolf has the impression that picnics don't attract geocachers,
so we are going to try a different approach. We don't know why the
Joburg Events are not as well attended as the Pretoria ones, but
what we do know is that the Pretoria teams have grown to know each
other well and have developed great friendships with each
other.
We hope to do the same for the Joburg crowd, and inspire similar
comraderie as that of the Pretoria teams - so come on everyone,
please do come and join us!
Everyone is welcome though and we hope to see many Pretoria
teams there as well!
You are welcome to join us for a chat. If you wish to have
breakfast, this will be for your own account. Breakfast here is
served in buffet style with costs ranging from R45 per adult R25
for kids under 10.
Although there is a play area for the kids, please watch your
kids so that they don't disturb the tranquility of the place for
other people. Please do not disturb or chase the ducks.
We'll meet under the three willow trees which has a good view of
the kiddies jungle gym/play area and the dam on the other side. It
is really a beautiful place here.
PLEASE RSVP your attendance by logging a "Will Attend" log and
indicate the number of adults and children in your log, and whether
you will be having breakfast, so that the necessary catering can be
arranged.
