The cache is placed in a quiet corner of Bogyoke (General) Aung San Market, at the entrance of the Church compound adjecent to the market.
Please note that the market is closed on Mondays.
The market was built by the British in 1926, the late part of colonial rule. It was first named Scott's Market, after british civil servant James George Scott who introduced football to the country. After independence in 1948, it was named after General Aung San, the Indepence Hero of the country.
The market is a main destination for tourists and mainly sells antiques and traditional burmese handicrafts, jewellry and art-works.
The cache is a black magnetic nano. Tucked in a (hopefully) safe spot.
