Geocache Description:

The bridge is close to the station Keihin Electric Express Kogane-cho.

This bridge is close to the station Keihin Electric Express Kogane-cho.

It seem to be build bridges of this neighborhood around 1928.
Because there are bridges with the personality, Please walk the Ookagawa promenade and enjoy the variety bridges.

The view of the cherry tree from here is very splendid.
About 800 cherry trees are planted along Ooka-river.
In spring, cherry blossom festival is held and that is filled with people enjoying the cherry blossoms.
This neighborhood was a famous red light district, but It became the slightly healthy town now, like as the child can take a walk in peace.

Please bring a pen just to make sure.
And please warn it not to drop cache.

A container fall accident occurred ever 3 times.
Not loss, Not muggled, it is a fall.
If a fall accident happens with high probability like this, I think that this cache should be archives.
However, the problem has nothing if we careful about the handling and the return places.

京急黄金町駅すぐ近くの太田橋です。
この橋は昭和3年に竣工されました。このあたりの橋は大体昭和3年前後に掛けれているようです。個性のある橋ばかりですので、大岡川プロムナードを歩いてそのバラエティを楽しんではどうでしょうか。

大岡川沿いには約800本の桜の木が植えられており、春には大規模な桜祭り「大岡川さくら祭り」が開催され、桜を楽しむ人でいぱいになります(2011年春は東日本大震災の影響を受けて中止になりました)。

大岡川は横浜市南区を北東に流れ、中区桜木町と中区本町の境界から横浜港に注いでいます。横浜のもっともメジャーな地区を流れる大岡川は全長14kmの典型的な都市型河川です。川に沿って歩けば横浜を十分堪能できると思います。横浜名産のスカーフは、かつて、この川で染められていたそうです。

かつてこの黄金町駅付近は有名な色町でしたが、今はすっかり整備されています(とはいっても大岡川沿いが整理されただけですこし繁華街に足を延ばせばまだあやしげなお店はたくさんありますが・・・)。
川沿いなら、子供も安心して散歩できますのでご安心を。
