It's Pi Day 2011. What better way to celebrate than a meet up at a pie kitchen and greet and meet over a slice. 6:00 pm 3/14/11
Several weeks ago I was reading my status updates on facebook and noticed that a few of my geocaching friends were all heading out to a local diner for some pie. And well that got me to thinking about pie and from there it wasn't long before I got to thinking about Pi and Pi Day.
So I called up a math grad student friend of mine, and occasional cache buddy, and told him we were going to celebrate this year. I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate caching and my silliness than calling out any fellow cachers who might want to meet up for some pie. This will be the first event I have hosted and is also to celebrate my goal of reaching 100 finds in 10/2010. :)
Log will be available to begin signing at 6:00 pm and will be available till at least 7:00 pm.
