St Andrew's Church at White Colne is very special as the building
is small and the setting is tranquil in its rural farmland
setting.
The churchyard, with its ancient yews and gravestones is a lovely
place to sit quietly on a warm day and enjoy the
surroundings.
St. Andrew's origins probably date from the 12th Century with
additional works being carried out over the centuries. The spire
was added by the Victorians and has currently been re-clad with oak
shingles following attacks by the woodpeckers looking for
food.
