We no longer live in this area, so if anyone finds this cache and has a container to replace the original with, we would really appreciate it. This cache is one of a series of three caches we have placed for those fans of the Pixar movie CARS, all named after places in the movie. It has lots of CARS memorabilia, great for kids. Small plastic container with a red lid. Placement should be fairly obvious to those who know what to look for.
This cache is not at the Hackberry General Store, but near an advertisement for it. The owners of the shop are very friendly and told us that the Pixar guys came through and spent two weeks in the store measuring it up and taking photos, to use it as a basis for Lizzie's Curios. Check out the store to find Lizzie, Stanley and Radiator Springs Lightning McQueen.
You may be able to park over the road a short way up, or park at the store and walk down as it is only a few hundred feet. Watch out for wildlife.
Just wondered if there are any cachers in the area who would like to take over this cache as we have moved out of the area.
