Ob vstopu v tržiško dolino se pogled ustavi na mogocni stavbi tovarne PEKO, svetovno znane po izdelavi kvalitetnih cevljev. Pred leti je bilo v njej zaposlenih preko 2500 ljudi. S sodobno tehnologijo in uspešnim razvojem je bila ena izmed vodilnih podjetij v regiji, mestu Tržic pa je narekovala utrip življenja. Dolga leta je nudila najmocnejšo oporo ob pripravi »Šuštarske nedelje«, najvecje tradicionalne sejemske prireditve v mestu. Po razpadu trgov v republikah bivše Jugoslavije in izgubi premoženja v njih je podjetje pocasi stagniralo.
Mikro cach je skrit izven podjetja na parkirišcu, kjer je bilo vcasih rokometno igrišce. Od tu se lepo vidi severna fasada z napisom imena in pomembnih letnic.

Upon entering the Tržic valley stand majestic building PEKO, world famous shoes company. Years ago, it was employed more than 2500 people. With modern technology and successful development has been one of the leading companies in the region.
