Congratulations to Holmey40 on being the Most Esteemed First Finder- MEFF!!!!!

Welcome to PITS # 3. Inspired by two finders of PITS # 1 & 2 and their log references to the Lord of The Ring Series.

Your challenge begins by finding the way to the Middle-Earth. A short trip through the Forest of Fangorn will bring you to the rim of the Middle-Earth. Be forewarned, entrance involves sheer cliffs or other possibilities. The choice is yours. Once you have gained access and are approaching the cache, you will notice The Shire and Bree, home of the Hobbits. Do not venture too close. It is highly recommended that this journey is not attempted solo due to the necessity of multiple eyes to be alert for the possible sighting of Bilbo, Frodo, Samwise, but mostly to watch out for the Ents and Orcs. The Orcs, tricky devils, have disguised themselves as numerous vines, and other concrete obstacles to disrupt your footing. There is great evidence of their discarded possessions. BE MOST CAREFUL!!

One last warning, during the warm months, the Orcs will enlist the assistance of all other nasty creatures native to Florida ie, ticks, mosquitoes, very large snakes,GIANT SPIDERS, etc. FYI – in the process of hiding this cache we did see one ENT disguised as a very large grapefruit tree baring magnificent fruit.

If you see a NO TRESPASSING sign, you are approaching from the wrong area. the sign was posted to keep the neighboring community from dumping in the pit. This is a 5/5 and you must find the correct entry point.
