The caches are all small clip and lock plastic containers with log book, pencil and sharpener. Room for small trackables.
The 8 caches in this area called Y Rhinogydd can either be done as a series on a very long circular walk 10miles approx or could be done probably in two shorter circuits
Two of the caches were placed last year and the remaining 6 are new caches making new series of 8.
If you intend to do all the caches in one walk bear in mind it will probably take 5 to 6hrs for experienced walkers and longer otherwise. They have varied terrain ratings but to do all of them folowing our route would put the series as a 5 Terrain.
There is a 1.5km unpathed section between Cwm Llechen and Croesfan which is a mixture of sheep tracks, boggy ground and knee deep heather.
Please take the usual precuations of taking map,compass,strong footwear, waterproofs and warm clothing. Also you will need to be able to navigate in mist should the cloud base drop.
