This is a popular area in Inverurie, especially in the summer months, for a walk or a picnic lunch.
There are a pair of swans to be seen at times.
The Inverurie Raft race usually takes place, usually on the first Sunday in June. It starts in Kemnay and finishes at this location.
Park up on St James' Place.
