Von Perleberg kommend über Platenhof, Nebelin, Ferbitz nach Lenzen verlief die Alte Postroute Berlin - Hamburg.
Um 2000 wurde die Schrankenanlage nebst aller Bahngebäude dort beseitigt und hier ist schluss mit dem Weg.
Man kann noch nachvollziehen, wo die Strecke verlief.
Im letztem Jahr, genauer gesagt am 16.12.2010, fuhr ganz offiziell der Castor-Transport auf dem Schienenweg hier lang.
Der nächste Transport ist Mitte Februar 2011 geplant.
