Horsford Woods is a haven for wildlife and is one of few
remaining breeding spots in Norfolk for the rare Silver Studded
Blue butterfly. The woods are also inhabited by the Adder, our only
native venomous snake
The walk itself is on a combination of hard pack and stone trail
which is easily accessible from Forestry Commission car park way
pointed below. Care should be taken in places as some trails are
liable to flooding so please make sure you are wearing suitable
footwear.
From the car park head left down the trail.
The cache itself is a bison in a home made bespoke container.
There is only a log sheet so please bring your own pen.
