This cache is placed as part of the CARW2011 event. As per the guidelines, please do NOT search for this cache until March 5, 2011 at 9am.
This seems to be a popular Sturgeon River crossing by snowmobiles. It's probably not quite as easy in warmer temperatures. As I hiked to place this cache, a spooked coyote darted across the sturgeon river near this spot.
