Geocache Description:

Part of the Three Parks series currently being placed. A round walk from Rye House Train Station in Hoddesdon.

This series takes in three parks in the residential East of Hoddesdon. This circular walk will take approximately an hour and takes in lots of swings and playing opportunities for children.

Rye Park is the most urban of the three parks on the walk. It is very well used and as such you should be aware of muggles when searching for the cache. Rye Park has a play area for under 12s, a basket ball/football area and a skate park which is great for Teens. Come and watch the Sunday league football on a nice Spring/ Autumn day.

The cache is a small tupperware- type container. Suitable for very small/ flat swops, it will hold geo-coins/ Travel bugs. When placed the cache contained a log book, pencil and some marbles.

When retrieving the cache please take care. The area is on a slight incline and can be muddy when wet and a little bit unsteady under foot in places. It is however placed only a short distance from the flat grass field area. Children should be accompanied by an adult.
