Geocache Description:

A FlashMob during our first ever skiing holiday, in Bulgaria

We are visiting Borovets in March 2011 to celebrate our first anniversary & to try out skiing for the first time. We thought it would be fun to see if there are any other Cachers out there at the same time, as there are 3 Caches in the resort. Plus of course if there any local Cachers who need a smiley, they'd be welcome too!

Anyone who cannot be there for the event itself can join us by checking out the resort webcam. The 'related webpage link' at the top of this listing, takes you to the webcam "Borovets Ski Resort Base - 1341 m" In the centre of the pic you can see the base of the gondola, and we will be gathering below this for the flashmob!

We will also attempt to hold a Skype call at the same time...Skype Bikermel76 to connect



The event will take place on Sunday March 13th at 18:00 LOCAL TIME (16:00GMT) and will last EXACTLY 10 minutes. Hope to see you there!

For the unititiated, a Flash Mob Event is a micro event, which takes place at a given time and lasts for a specific time. The idea is that if you arrive early, you blend in and look inconspicuous until the event begins on the stroke of 18:00. At precisely 18:10 we shall disband and go our separate ways. Although in reality some may go off 'apres flash', caching or socialising at a nearby watering hole!


PS The name of the event is an homage to our pals back home, the CacheWalker gang!
