KV #56 - Härlanda kyrka
Göteborgs stad

Kyrkan invigdes första söndagen i Advent år 1958. Kyrkans arkitekt var Peter Celsing som vann arkitekttävlingen 1952.

Kyrkan är byggd i brunröd tegel i funkis modell. I väster står en klockstapel. Församlingshuset har en pastorsexpedition.

Inuti har kyrkan en väldigt speciell planlösning som gör att den består av två delar. En stor sal i mitten och i söder ett så kallat sidoskepp. I väster ligger vapenhuset.

Altaret är ett stående granitpodium. Bilderna i altaret är gjord av konstnären Ivar Lindekrantz. På den södra väggen hänger en bonad gjord av Tullan Flink.

Orgeln har 23 stämmor och är byggd år 1960 av O. Hammarberg & Son, Göteborg.

Jämte kyrkan ligger den gamla kyrkruinen och där finner du multicachen: GPPT #09, The Ruin, (Gavia # 23) av Gavia.

Ett litet FTF-pris väntar i geocachen.

Denna kyrka har varken kyrkomur eller kyrkogård. Ta med dig en egen penna.
The church was inaugurated the first Sunday of Advent in 1958. The church's architect was Peter Celsing that won the architect competition in 1952.

The church is built in brownred bricks in functional style. In the West there is a belfry. The congregation house has a parish office.

Inside the church has a very special design that makes it consist of two parts. One big hall in the middle and in the South a so called aisle. In the West there is the church porch.

The has a standing granite podium. The pictures in the altar is made by the artist Ivar Lindekranz. On the southern wall a tapestry is handing made by Tullan Flink.

Besides the church the old church ruin is and there you found the multi-cache: GPPT #09, The Ruin, (Gavia # 23) by Gavia.

A small FTF price awaits in the geocache.
