About the cache
A magnetic key holder that contains just a log and has little room for anything else. Located at the start of the bridleway and not far from a Grade II listed mill, this is the last of three caches on the bridleway than runs from Manywell Heights to Haworth Road. Of course, it could be the first if you approach from this bottom end of the path.
Why coffee and clogs?
Mrs EmeraldEvans is a bit of a coffee snob/addict and likes the coffee they serve in the mill coffee shop which is located towards the bottom of the path. I go along with this because the mill also boasts a nice outdoor clothing selection and I like to pop along to see if anything is in the sales, especially decent boots!
This path is the one we take when walking down from Denholme - Mrs EE likes to earn her coffee... We may extend the series to include some of the other footpaths around Denholme and Cullingworth but a lot of the decent ones have already been exploited by those prolific cachers, The Biffas and PeterandDi.
Access by car
If coming by car, our preference would be to park in the parking area on Manywells Brow and to then walk down the path towards Haworth Road. I have provided a way point for the parking area. It is possible to park on Haworth Road on the soft verge and do the series from the bottom up but cars do tend to go roaring along Haworth Road. If you are intending to visit the mill shop, then you could use their car park.
Access by public transport
There are a couple of bus services that run along Manywells Brow/Haworth Road.
Pushchair access
The caches at either end of the footpath are accessible by pushchair but I would say that the middle one is not unless your pushchair has the sort of suspension more normally seen on top end mountain bikes!
Access by bike
The caches are situated on a bridleway so you can cycle on the path. The centre section is pretty rocky but if you're into off road mountain biking then no doubt you will have seen worse.
