Get together and [optional] ride the VA Creeper Trail from Whitetop Mountain down to Damascus.
Meeting location is at the Brick (Virtual Geocache) and then move on to the shuttle service, Adventure Damascus, which is right there! (128 W Laurel Ave).
Gather in Damascus at [8 am]. Quick agenda will include getting a count of people going on the ride, those staying behind (waiting on our return), those departing afterwards, all to ensure we leave no geocacher behind who doesn't wish to be left behind. We will have an event log to sign, so be sure and sign before shuttling off.
After the event, those wishing to participate in the ride portion should shuttle bikes to the top of Whitetop Mountain using any of the area shuttle services. From the top, ride back down. Along the trail should you happen to stop and take a picture or sign a log or two, that's all fine and dandy!

If you are opting for the ride portion of the event and want to shuttle to the top with your fellow geocachers, here's the way to ensure you have a slot and a bike (if needed).
No later than April 30, contact Adventure Damascus 888-595-2453 to reserve your slot(s). They will need to know the following:
1. Our group name : Geocachers United
2. Your geocaching name : _huggy_d1_
3. Your name : _huggy_ (the name on _your_ credit card may differ ;) )
4. How many people you are calling on behalf of
5. Of those, who needs a bike & shuttle, or just shuttle and be sure and mention mens / womens / childrens sizes
6. Credit card information to reserve your slot(s)
Lastly and very importantly, post a note (or just edit your will attend) to indicate you have made your reservation(s). If you make a reservation under our group name and their is no will attend log / note stating you made a reservation, I will have the bike shop put you on your own private group.
