This is the third cache we have hidden after the children were keen to hide their own.
We were going to have this cache near the other two we placed a few weeks ago but Logan decided he wanted his to be no where near Jacob and Freya's caches.
This cache is hidden in Caddam Wood, a popular haunt of ours during the summer months. It is also a popular walk for folk out with their dogs so some stealth maybe required when looking for the cache. We had fun looking for the ideal hiding spot, we were just spoilt for choice given the number of trees.
Depending on where you park this can be done as a quick cache n dash or as part of a far longer walk through the woods. The waypoint given with the listing is the closest layby and clearly visable from the cache location. But there are several dirt laybys along the road at the back of the wood and another at the "main" entrance to the wood across from the golf course.
There is another cache in Caddam Wood (our first real find when we started this geocaching malarky), Cars in Caddam. This is a themed cache and was a hit with our kids. So you could maybe look for this one as well if you haven't done so already.
The cache is a 700ml lock n lock box which contains a few small swaps (chosen by Logan) plus a log book and pencil.
