"Stone tablet with a Buddhist text" series, the third!
"KO_AN NO ITABI" was made to (Christian era 1280) for Ko_an three years.In addition, "O_CHO_ NO ITABI" was made to (Christian era 1311) for O_cho_ era one year.There was ever these two stone tablets with a Buddhist text in Jorakuji of the Nishiokubo east end, but Jorakuji became an abandoned temple in Edo last years, and the location of the stone tablet with a Buddhist text became unidentified, too.I understood that it was buried all over the forest, and it was excavated to (Christian era 1968) afterwards in Syo_wa era 43 year.However, I produced deficit in the upper parts of the monument by a process of the burying.In addition, "KO_AN NO ITABI" is a stone tablet with a Buddhist text which is the oldest in Moroyamamachi.
There is convenience store (LAWSON) at the crossing nearby.
The container is installed in a 500 mL cylindrical plastic bottle, adjacent Yasaka Shrine premises.
Logbook, ball-point pen, geocaching memo enter inside.

「板碑」シリーズ？第３弾！
「弘安の板碑（こうあんのいたび）」は弘安3年（西暦１２８０年）に立てられたものです。
また「應長の板碑（おうちょうのいたび）」は應長元年（西暦１３１１年）に立てられたものです。
この二面の板碑は、かつては西大久保東端の常楽寺にありましたが、江戸末期常楽寺が廃寺となり板碑の所在も不明となっていました。
その後山林中に埋められている事が判り昭和４３年（西暦１９６８年）に発掘されました。しかし埋没の過程で碑の上部等に欠損を生じていました。
なお、「弘安の板碑」は毛呂山町内で最も古い板碑です。
近くの交差点にコンビニエンスストア(ローソン)が有ります。
容器は500mLの円筒形プラスチックボトル、隣接する八坂神社の境内に設置しています。
中にはログブック、ボールペン、ジオキャッシングメモが入っています。
