The Great Pyramid at Giza is the last of the Seven Wonders of the
Ancient World left standing. It's coordinates are N 29 58.750, E 31
08.061. Solving this puzzle will be easy if you print this page and
then peruse a satellite image of the Giza Plateau. After all, a
picture is worth a thousand words. Click on this site's "Seek a
Cache" feature and have a look at the cache called Cheops V........
After finding the Great pyramid, also known as Cheops, you will
notice that there are three main pyramids on the Giza Plateau.
Southwest from Cheops is the slightly smaller pyramid Khafre.
Further southwest is the smallest of the three pyramids, Menkaure.
If you look east of Khafre and zoom in, you will see the catlike
silhouette of the Great Sphinx. Some notable astronomers claim that
the three pyramids represent the constellation known as the Belt of
Orion........ In order to solve this puzzle, travel west from
Cheops 110 degrees and 43.562 minutes of longitude and north from
Cheops 10 degrees and 19.808 minutes of latitude to the "western
counterpart" of Cheops. Southwest 2850 feet from there is the
"western counterpart" of Menkaure. Approximately halfway between
them is a popular eating establishment representing the "western
counterpart" of Khafre........ I have placed the cache
approximately where the Great Sphinx would be.......1935 feet from
the "western counterpart" of Cheops at a bearing of 147 degrees, 41
minutes and 54 seconds........ The link below will verify the
coordinates of the cache if you crunch the right numbers.
