Geocache Description:

Whenever I drive past this reserve I always ask myself the question, ‘Where’s the tank gone?’ In my childhood there used to be an armoured troop carrier sitting in the middle of this reserve that we would spend ages playing in and on.

The co-ordinates will bring you to the above mentioned reserve where you too will notice that the tank is gone. The troop carrier once stood proud in the middle of this reserve, but at some time in the past it was removed. Below is the reserve as it is today.
Below is an artist’s impression of the reserve with the troop carrier. (My dodgy attempts rather than an artist’s impression.)
I know that it looked a little like the carrier above but I'm unsure of the actual information on what type of troop carrier it was. I am hoping that anyone else with the actual information can help me out. Whether it be information about the carrier or its current whereabouts.

The Cache:

Your mission...If you choose to accept it, is to free the soldiers from their armoured hiding location.
At the posted co-ordinates above, you will find a sign. How many letters are in the last word on this sign?

6 letters- S36 22.584 E145 23.663

7 letters- S36 22.668 E145 23.727

8 letters- S36 22.779 E145 23.841

These co-ordinates will take you to the final cache location.

There is only one type of cache container that I felt I could use for this cache. At GZ you will find the container acting as a troop carrier. Inside the original contents contain, many soldiers being protected by the armoured container. A camouflaged toy pistol and suction darts to help protect the soldiers from any surprise attacks from the enemy, a range of camouflaged vehicles, but with no fuel, they are of no use to the soldiers. A military chopper, but their only pilot is M.I.A. A pair of binoculars for your use to keep an eye out for any approaching muggle enemies while trying to evacuate soldiers. Last but definitely not least, a medal of honour bestowed on the brave soldiers that are still held captive. (Of course I have also included a logbook and pen)

For theFTF:

There is also a Travel bug here that represents the original armoured troop carrier. Could you please move this bug onto another cache.

If you would like to find where the tank has gone, you can track the Travel Bug 'Here's The Tank'.

Best of luck on your mission. You are all truly brave soldiers.
