In celebration of my 1st Jamacian Vacation, the fact that I've turned 60 this past week and being here with Family and Friends I wanted to have a GeoCaching Event. All GeoCachers are invited and welcome to attend.
I'm visiting from Nova Scotia, Home of Canada's First Geocache (GCBBA), with my sister, brother, cousin and nephew as well as the Cache Owner of GCBBA. When planning our trip we thought it would be a fun idea to hold a Geocaching Event as we all enjoy geocaching. We are looking forward to meeting geocachers in the area and hope that any Cachers visiting the Island and geocachers who are from here will join us to exchange names, stories and some friendship. Please meet at Doctors Cave Beach on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 from 11 a.m. to Noon. There will be a Log Book to sign and Prizes will be drawn for. If you are going to be in the area please do drop by to meet everyone. The Event is being held at a very popular Beach in Montego Bay which has an Entrance Fee of $5.00 USD. This fee helps to ensure that the people frequenting the beach are provided with a safe clean place to enjoy the water, sun and sand. There is also a very old cache here at this location, Doctor's Cave Cache (GC3E4C), which you will be encouraged to find and log as well. The cache owner is aware we are having an Event at the location of his cache and looks forward to seeing the Event pictures.
If you are in the area at that time we hope to see you. As we will be doing other caches in the area afterwards if anyone wants to join in with us and has their own transportation, you are welcome.
