Our first cache in memory of our son Jamie. We can see the location of this cache from our house and it is a great place to see wildlife and find a pretty secluded part of Dee Why Beach. Look for some beautiful birds in the lagoon.
Park in the Dee Why Surfclub carpark and take the path that goes around Dee Why Lagoon to Long Reef. There is a path that then heads over to the beach and the cache is in the shade of some beautiful trees.
Jamie was a special boy and we wanted to do something in his honour. The Cache is a square sistern box with a geo-cache sticker on it. There are some nice little gifts in there for goe- kiddies. Hope you enjoy the walk!
