What is in your GeoPack? Be sure to carry matches. In case of an emergency, you may need fire for warmth and to help others find you. Look for matches that come with a flint and waterproof container. Be sure to check your surroundings before starting a fire. Ideally, you want the fire to be 10 feet away from anything. Use crumpled paper and/or kindling to start a fire rather than using flammable liquids. Surround it with rocks to contain your fire. Be aware that rocks obtained from a river may explode due to moisture in the rock becoming superheated by the fire.
Please post what you carry in your GeoPack. Better yet, hide a GeoPack GeoCache in the area with your item in the cache name.
