The cache is beside the track and not on the Hickling Broad National Nature Reserve but it is close to an area which provides excellent views over part of the reserve and of raptors as they fly in to roost in the area. Birds you are likely to see are marsh harriers, hen harriers, merlin, barn owl and cranes.
Please park at the Norfolk Wildlife Trusts Visitor Centre car park up the road. There is a raised viewing area which looks out onto the reserve. With a log book and bird identification book to help if you are not a birder.
The cache is a 'decon' box with room for GCs and small swaps.
