Geocache Description:



The Smitten with the Mitten series for 2011 is based around Great Lakes Shipwrecks, specifically major shipwrecks in lakes that touch the state of Michigan (Superior, Michigan, Huron).

This final cache is a riddle of sorts. It is not located at the posted coordinates (you would need a boat to get there). In order to locate this final cache, you need to visit the 14 other geocaches in this series. At each cache you will find a Letter & Number (in the container and/or in the logbook). Take note of these codes! Take the codes and assemble them into the phrase FiTS LIKe A GlOVE. From that phrase & number combination you should be able to figure out the final coordinates for this cache.

When you find this final cache, you can call yourself a "Mitten Master", and take a coupon in the cache. Each coupon is good for one "Shiny metal orb that cannot be mentioned" (see the picture above). Please take only one coupon for each caching ID (we reserve the right to deny Sock Puppet accounts).

The series will run from June 2, 2011 through September 2, 2011.

At the beginning, there are 80 coupons in this final cache. Coupons not claimed by September 9, 2011 will be forfeited.

Despite what signs near the final location say, you can get through to this location!
