Geocache Description:

The cache is a 4"x6" plastic container hidden along a river in a forgotten portion of the Caribbean National Forest.

This cache is hidden on the isolated side of El Yunque rainforest. A landslide washed out the road (Route 9966) leading to this portion of the park so it's closed to motor vehicles. We recommend you approach from the West and park at the "Caribbean National Forest" sign. From here, it is a 1/2 mile trek up to this scenic location.

Once you have found the cache, we recommend you climb down to some of the pools below the water falls. We love this secluded location and would appreciate it if you would attach photos to your post.

Small note on cache maintenance: There is a local cache guardian. Name and contact info on file with geocaching.com.
