A second time around.
For all those who were unable to attend our evening at the sugar house, we decided to add another day.
Feel free to attend both we would love to see you.
What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon? Time at a sugar house and discussing your winter caching escapades with fellow cachers!!
Bring the kids - both young and old.
Enjoy a tradition of sugar on snow, (providing there is still snow, but usually in Windsor snow is still on the ground until sometime in April!) a dill pickle, and saltines. Sounds like a strange combination, but all the old timers say that is the way it is done.
Again, we will have the BBQ grill and hot dogs - bring along your favorites. Who knows, maybe we will find something new to add maple syrup to or on. I know - the cook in me is coming out but I love to experiment with food.
We will begin around 1pm and go until the sap is gone. (at least 4 - 5 hours)
We will also have a small table to swap any TB's or coins that you have had trouble moving because of all the snow this winter.
