Geocache Description:

The second cache in our South West Adventure... This cache is a micro cache hidden close to the Clifton Suspension Bridge.

This is the second cache of our South West Adventure.
You'll find a small magnetic film box in which we have placed a geocache log.

Over the next few months we will be placing other caches of various kinds all over the South West Region.

Work began on the bridge in 1831. Isambard Kingdom Brunel died aged only 53 yrs in 1859 but the Bridge was completed as his memorial and finally opened in 1864.

When Brunel died, a mistake was made during the construction of the towers. One tower is built with windows in the sides of it, whereas the other has none.
