Located in Deer Run Public Park about a mile outside of Nasville. Cache located in a meadow of tall grass, brush, and small tree thickets. Terrain is mostly flat easy walking, has a maze of pathes cut through the field. Large gravel parking area, park open 6am-11pm, no fee to enter or park, open to the public. Wear long pants good shoes/boots. After heavy rain can be muddy in places.
Read the rules for Geocashing if you take something leave something,Thanks. Cache is a Qrt plastic mayo jar painted camo, with log book, pencil and small trinkets to start with. Look skyward and you'll most always see Hawks or Eagles flying. In the meadow you may flush rabbits, grouse, quail or a sleeping deer. It's about a mile from the center if Nashville a sleepy little tourist village. Also in th area is Brown Co. State Park, Yellowood Natl Forest, and Hoosier Natl Forest all with more caches and chance to explore and see wildlife. Spend a day, a weekend or more. ENJOY.
