Geocache Description:

NO SPOILERS PLEASE!

The cache is ammo can with some swag. FTF prize is a $10 gas card plus an extra trinket I am not allowed to name. The terrain rating is relatively accurate. The cache is not located on private property; there is no need to cross any fence to get to it. There may be some bushwhacking involved during summer as I placed the cache late February.

In 2009, I placed a cache that I thought would be challenging and fun. Naturally, any time I do something like that it invites a few of my more mischievous Geocaching friends to try something naughty, usually in the name of giving me grief. I will not name names because cache descriptions are not supposed to promote things or malign individuals (hint: I am talking about a certain Large Feline and another duo that are not the Ateam or the Bteam). But I digress.

When this special cache of mine was placed, one of the aforementioned deviants decided to find it in an unconventional way. He did! However, much to his surprise, someone else used an unconventional technique to find it. That someone was Paul Titus. Since that time, it has become something of a joke for unnamed individuals to sign Titus’ name first on the logs for other caches I place.

Recently, on a group outing for a night cache, the topic came up. “Hey, did you know Paul Titus solved your ‘Octomom’ cache?” “Yeah, right,” I replied. “No, really. His name is the first one on the log.” “I am sure,” I continued my cynical retort, “Which one of you wrote his name on the log?” “We promise. We did not write it. Paul did.” And thus was born the idea for this cache.

To get the actual coordinates, you will need to decipher the information below. You only need to solve for the final four digits of the northing and the westing (you know where to put the decimal point, right?). The first formula will yield the northing. The second will give you the westing.
