”Our Shinano” series #6 : "Experience counts"
Obasute-yama(mountain) is a showplace in the moon known from of old by going out to the book at the Nara era.
It was a place for which the Heian era aristocrat and the man of culture yearned.
Terraced paddy fields where the slope was made the best use of came to be made in the age afterwards.
Moon that reflects in the rice field and "Tagoto no tsuki(Moon in each rice field)" are also famous.
Moreover, Obasute-yama is famous as the folk tale.
A certain day elderly person's hated lord issued commands and to throw it away to the mountain, the elderly person issued commands.
It was not possible to finish throwing away and it gave shelter to though the elderly person that a certain young person was in the house, too was going to be deserted.
After all, when the difficult problem was pressed against the lord by the next country, the lord was saved by elderly person's wisdom.
The outline is such a story.
Cache is near Chorakuji Temple that exists in Obasute.
In this temple, there is a big rock of the name called Oba-ishi(Oba-iwa).
It can climb the top this rock.
The view is very good, and the Kawanakajima region where Shingen Takeda fought with Kenshin Uesugi is looked at.
The surrounding of the temple is a sacred ground of the seventeen-syllable verse.
A lot of monuments of Matsuo Basho etc. are set up in precincts.
The letterbox was set up here.
It is a plastic case with 1.6 liters.
There are a logbook and a stamp in the container.
Please stamp the stamp of cache on the brought logbook about geocacher that discovers cache.
Please stamp the stamp voluntarily geocacher on the logbook of cache similarly.

姨捨山は、奈良時代の書物に出てくる程古くから知られている、月の名所です。
平安貴族や、文化人が憧れる場所でした。
その後の時代では、その斜面を生かした棚田も作られるようになりました。
その田んぼに映る月、「田毎の月」も有名です。
また姨捨山は民話としても有名です。
年寄りの嫌いな殿様が年寄りは山に捨てるように命令を出し、ある若者も家に居る年寄りを捨てることになったが捨てきれずに匿っていました。
ある日隣の国から殿様に出された難題を、結局年寄りの知恵で救われる物語です。
キャッシュは、姨捨にある長楽寺近くにあります。
このお寺には、姨石（姨岩）と言う名前の大きな岩があります。
この岩は頂上に登ることが出来ます。
大変眺めが良く、武田信玄と上杉謙信が戦った川中島一帯が眺められます。
寺付近は俳諧の聖地です。
境内には松尾芭蕉を始め、数多くの歌碑が設置されています。
ここにレターボックスを設置しました。
1.6Lのプラスチックケースです。
キャッシュボックスの中にはログブックとスタンプが入っています。
発見したジオキャッシャーは持参したログブックにキャッシュのスタンプを押印し、同様にキャッシュのログブックにジオキャッシャー自らのスタンプを押印してください。
スタンプはインクを含んでいますので、スタンプだけで使用できますが、インクが切れていましたら一緒にあるスタンプ台をお使いください。
