Geocache Description:

This is the fourth cache in my series along what is intended to be a nice hiking trail. Because of the potential for detrimental impact on private property and to local access to it near the west end of the trail, I strongly urge all geocachers to park at the east end ONLY, and hike the trail. The entire old road (trail) is open to the public.

None of my caches are on posted Private land -- so be respectful and Please Keep Out of posted property -- there is no need to venture there. If you decide to search for all of these caches, you could drive the trail, at least in a 4-wheel drive, but I strongly suggest parking at the listed parking spot and taking the pleasant hike - you'll enjoy it more.

Hiking the entire trail that follows the creek below offers plenty of melodic interludes between cache hunts, from the ripples of small waterfalls and sounds emanating from critters that abide there, if you are willing to remain afoot. If it is a hot summer day, be sure to carry water.

The Cache contains a log and small items for trade, but no writing implement. Be sure to bring a pencil, pen, or crayon with you, and sign the log! Also, the cache container is watertight, but only if properly closed! To do that, please make sure it locks correctly, and that the log is sealed in its protective Ziplock bag.
